Here you can find all the Battle Range scenarios that have been rescued from version 17 onward. Some scenarios from version 19 and 21, as well as versions 18 and 20 as a whole, were lost during a server switch. I'm afraid all scenarios from the UBB times have been lost. If you have any of the missing scenarios, please let me know. Click on each title to display the scenario.

It's the newest rage! In every mall throughout Ulthuan there are the latest and greatest training devices ever created, or so the manufacturers claim. For a mere fifty-five stamps, you can enter a realm of any environment possible and battle well, anything. Courtesy of our international sponsor, the Dragon Games have received many of these consoles and I have an entire truckload of free Play-Coins. Each trainer will receive two of these coins and can participate twice for free. If they really want to dish out the fifty-five stamps, they can participate even more. The console is more than just a headset. The pokemon is sedated has all its life signs monitored. They unconscious pokemon is then fed information to it while it sleeps. Each battle is not worth a set amount of experience. If the pokemon chosen to battle is an infant or a basic (non-evolved), then the battle rewards one point of experience. If the pokemon has evolved at least once, the battle rewards two points of experience. They only drawback is that the pokemon will not be able to evolve during this battle if they are at the right level (they may evolve normally during the next scenario however). The trainer can communicate to his pokemon and view the battle in progress through a mini camera that can be adjusted to view the entire arena. The arena can be chosen from an almost limitless list of possibilities. Pokemon that are unable to be battled due to insufficient data are Mew, Mewtwo, Celebi, the legendary birds, and the legendary dogs (or cats).

With the Games in full swing, there have been a few acts of violence and mischief within the hotels that lined the outside of the major arena. Due to the bizarre nature of these activities, I was commissioned to order a sweep of one of the hotels that suffered the most. Of course, my first choice of help will be the Dragon Tamers. Since these crimes seem to be non-violent in nature, there is to be no unnecessary force used in apprehending these juveniles. Those participating in the games are excused from the exercise, but any additional help is appreciated.
During the sweep, pokemon can be encountered in several different ways and they do not have to be Pitched battles. Each battle rewards one point of experience (level); there may be two battles for this scenario. There may be two-on-two or one-on-two battles (you have one and there are two pokemon fighting it) along with regular one-on-one battles.

Seeing as Christmas is fast approaching, Christmas fever soon hits
the Dragon Tamers as everybody who celebrates it begins to put up their trees and buy
presents for one another. In the spirit of Christmas, a big Christmas
party is being held for all Dragon Tamers. Everybody is invited. The party
starts late in the afternoon and there is a big dinner and desert later
on. Also a few bands will be coming to perform - but are still
undecided.
Also as a special feature for the party, there will be pokemon brought,
especially for battling. These pokemon can only handle two battles from
each trainer though otherwise they will be much too worn out.

An ice cold chill that freezes every part of you races along like an impatient child. Blood rushes through you veins like a stampeding horde in order to keep yourself alive. Trees of all sizes are smothered in the white frosty snow that continues to gently fall from the sky. Ice has formed in several places and all waterways are frozen through.
Winter is here. The contrast to summer. It is a time for cold, for snow and for the other side of the world to enjoy summer. But don't despair! For it is time for:
The Winter Games!
Events:
1. Ice Skating Races
Fun but very competitive and can get quite brutal. Speed is essential but brains and brawn will help too. Have a plan in mind and know when to strike. The race is 10 laps of a 100m oval ring, making it a 1000m race. You can race opponents of different levels to test your skills. Remember, speed can also equate to losing control as not many Pokemon have superior grip on ice. Choose wisely.
Beginners: Level 10 Swinub
Normal: Level 20 Smoochum
Moderate: Level 30 Delibird
Advanced: Level 40 Sneasel
Expert: Level 50 Lapras
2. Ice Hockey!
Assemble a team of three Pokemon to take on those available. You can only have one of a particular type on each team. Attacks are allowed but you'd better not go overboard and take your opponent out of the game or penalty goals are enforced plus stuns from the hidden electric guns to bad players. First to five goals wins the match. Speed and strength will win you the game. With only 3 players, you'd better be on the money.
Beginners: Smoochum, Swinub, Squirtle, all Level 10
Normal: Totodile, Seadra, Poliwag, all Level 20
Moderate: Poliwhirl, Wartortle, Croconaw, all Level 30
Advanced: Lapras, Vaporeon, Poliwrath, all Level 40
Expert: Blastoise, Sneasel, Feraligatr, all Level 50
3. The Course!
A kilometre of snow and cold water, five targets, 500 metres of ice and one battle. Go for the gold!
Beginner: Level 10 Squirtle
Normal: Level 20 Seaking
Moderate: Level 30 Quagsire
Advanced: Level 40 Tentacruel
Expert: Level 50 Kingdra
You may participate in each event once only. No Pokemon can be in more than two events. Each participant gets one level of experience for each event. The ones you compete against depend on your level.
Below or 10: 10
11-20: 20
21-30: 30

We have been invited to a special event that takes place on the Easter Island. Many of you may find this peculiar, but it could be a nice change of scenery for those looking for fun, or even for some training. The game will be held on an open area, and all those who managed to fulfill their quests will be rewarded with a tasty treat. Here's what the sign at the registration boot says.
"Hello, and welcome to the Easter Island. In this exciting event, you are on a quest to earn Easter eggs, a very popular tradition held each and every Easter. However, in order to receive one of these delicious treats, you must defeat one of the many trainers here to find one (it will always be a random colour, and its contents are always random (e.g. for example the egg could be a chocolate flavoured egg with or without a creamy filling inside). The trainers here will always be holding one egg, but getting it (and learning what type of egg it is) will be difficult, as you will have to battle with any of the following Pokemon:

Now that spring has arrived on Ulthuan, all the ice and snow has melted, making traveling outdoors fun for Trainers and their Pokemon. There is a festival at the Pokemon Square Garden, a park, that is having Pokemon battles. This festival is like a late celebration for the coming of spring, and everyone is invited. There are refreshments, and two battlefields for people to battle on.

<Gabi's POV>
Permission granted, but you will have to make the arrangements on your own.
Greetings,
Golden Growlithe.
P.S. The fort is, indeed, available, and so are the prizes. You'll be surprised.
That was the whole content of the letter. Still, it was all I needed. It had the seal of the Dragon's Guild, which meant it was official. I was glad I had met Golden Growlithe on a previous visit to the Guild's headquarters. Our encounter made me feel I was not alone in what could become a Dragon's Guild civil war. Of course, my best hopes were that things wouldn't turn out that way. The situation was tense, but it had always been so; there was no reason to believe the Guild as a whole were against the Dragon Tamers. They were just keeping secrets, as was their tradition. They were so secretive I didn't even know who was in charge anymore, and I had one of the highest ranks and was one of the oldest Guild members. Of course, many didn't like the fact that I made the Dragon Tamers my main priority, even though the Guild were financing our activities. But some still had their heads and hearts in the right place, as G.G. had proven. Others were simply choked in bureaucracy but weren't bad either once you got a chance to get a message through. There was only one group among the Dragon's Guild that I was worried about: the invisible ones; the ones whose names were as unknown to me as their intentions and their limits. They lurked in the shadows, pulled some strings making sure the rest of us couldn't even figure out which ones... They seemed omnipresent, I could see signs of their activities on every 'strong suggestion', on every obscure message I received, on every bit of information that was denied to me. And I wondered who they were, what they were doing, what they wanted, but above all... were they on our side?
The letter had taken 3 months to arrive since I'd originally asked for permission to hold the next tournament. I knew they wouldn't have a reason to deny it, since holding pokemon battling tournaments was one of the activities the Dragon's Guild was famous for and we hadn't had one for over a year. I was a bit unsure about whether they would approve the location I'd requested, but if they rejected it, they would have had to provide a reason, and would have raised suspicions about why they were willing to hold tournaments at all the gates except that particular one. To be honest, it was exactly that fact that gave me the last clue I needed, after an enlightening conversation Officer Jenny and Tracker, and that made me decide it was the right time and place for the next Games.
I hadn't shared my thoughts with Golden Growlithe (I hadn't even asked him what his real name was); the last sentence of his letter got me intrigued, but the best thing I could do at that moment was wait until I saw him or the prizes. Maybe the prizes were just so good that he thought I'd be surprised at them... But I had the feeling there was more to that last comment. Or maybe it was just my tendency to find second meanings on everything that was Guild-related.
Before I go on about how the Dragon Tamers managed to make the arrangements for the Games (which was not an easy task) I think I should say more about my visit to the police station. It happened right after I picked up Amber and Sylvan from the Pokemon Center. Fortunately, their injuries hadn't been as bad as they had looked, and now they were feeling a lot better. Amber's cheek still had marks on it and would take a while to heal, but the nurse had assured that it would be as good as new as long as nothing caused the wound to reopen. Amber's firmness when she promised she wouldn't let that happen made me think for a moment that she was capable of caring as much about her appearance as Sylvan did; but then again, who'd want to have a permanent scar on their face?
My whole Team followed me to the Police Station. I requested to talk to Officer Jenny, though it was her Ninetales I wanted to talk to the most. They both turned out to be very helpful. They seemed to have got used to working together, to seeing me talk to pokemon, and to how things around the Dragon Tamers worked (Jenny's first encounters with us weren't something she'd been prepared for at the academy, especially since they involved a well-trained and very efficient police pokemon purposely disobeying her trainer). I went to ask them how their research was going, and if they could cross-check anything with the word Singlehorn, which I'd found in one of TR's computers as the name of a project.
"We haven't found much," Officer Jenny told me "seeing as that our best clue is the word 'Gates' casually mentioned by two Dragon's Guild members, and that we're only conducting this investigation on our free time, as no one else in this station sees it as a case. I'm beginning to wonder if there's anything solid myself."
"When you say 'we' you mean...?"
"Me and Tracker, of course. I would be blind if I didn't realize she's been working on this for longer than I have."
The female Ninetales smiled and looked up at her trainer, who caressed her head and neck in return.
"So, there's nothing on the Dragon's Guild..." I deduced. "What about Team Rocket?"
"They were everywhere two days ago. The whole station is after them. But now they seem to have vanished without a trace. I thought your group was responsible for it."
"We may be," I reflected. "We found their base and got out of it. Then yesterday Pidgeot flew over it and saw it was completely burnt out. They probably fled to some other location, I really don't think we've seen the last of them."
"It looks like you have some declarations to make," Jenny considered.
"Before you get into that," Tracker addressed me. "It's not true that there's nothing on the Guild. My trainer did some research on their activities over the last 4 years and I found something quite interesting about them. Something related to you, actually. I crosschecked it with the word Gates and had my trainer follow me to Griphon Gate, almost sure that I had something."
"Griphon Gate!!," Caledor jumped as if he'd been woken up with a bucket of watter. "That's where I first met my team!"
"Exactly," Tracker continued. "There we found enough information to confirm that at least a part of the Dragon's Guild or an association related to it has been conducting secret experiments. But no proof of who they were, nor where they were conducted, nor what exactly those experiments were. We don't even know if they were legal or not, but I think it's worth investigating more."
"You didn't have to go all the way to Griphon's Gate to know that," Caledor retorted. "I'm a living proof of what they've been doing. I was one of their experiments. But the lab wasn't at Griphon's Gate; I was only taken there for the prize ceremony."
"Where was it, then?"
"I wish I knew."
"What are they talking about?," Officer Jenny asked me. Only then I remembered she couldn't understand what Tracker and Caledor were saying.
"Griphon's Gate," I replied.
"Oh, yes, we've been there. But we found nothing you didn't already know, not even behind the locked doors."
"How did you get behind the locked doors?," Hero inquired.
"Good magicians don't reveal their secrets," Tracker grinned, half-closing her eyes in an inviting way.
"Since when are you a magician?," Hero asked her.
"Don't be jealous. Just because you're not the only one who has tricks it doesn't mean the police will stop chasing you."
"The police? Chasing me?"
"Well, one police Ninetales at list," Tracker winked.
Hero half-smiled. I could feel his body temperature rise even without touching him. I wished I could help him walk that step he was so afraid of. It was clear he loved Tracker as much as she loved him.
"What's going on now?," asked Jenny.
"Nothing," I said after thinking for a while, trying to avoid any tactless remarks. "Just Hero and Tracker talking to each other."
"Oh. Well, about the Dragon's Guild, I'm sorry, but all we know so far is that there is (or was) a secret lab, but not is location. And we haven't found any connections between any Guild Members and Team Rocket. If we proceed with the investigation, the Dragon's Guild will start asking questions and since there are no charges against them we will be forced to stop. Have I mentioned I'm not so sure we're doing the right thing?"
"You can't be doing any wrong, you're not hurting anyone, just looking for information. And if it turns out some Guild member has deals with Team Rocket or has been doing anything illegal, it would be best for everyone to know, wouldn't it? The Team Rocket that has attacked us now has done more damage than ever before. They haven't only caused many more deaths, but they also seem to know a lot about the Dragon Tamers and the Dragon's Guild. If they have the slightest chance to try and destroy us from the inside, well, we shouldn't..."
"Shouldn't let them. I know. Just make sure you don't cross the line in the process."
"I never would," I assured. "You don't know me if you think I could."
"I don't know you that well, but I never meant to say you would. A simple warning shouldn't hurt."
"Ok," I accepted.
She was right, we hadn't talked more than a few times and she could be risking her job for following my hunches. I shouldn't have been hard on her. My eyes slid down to Jenny's desk as I was caught on those thoughts. When I rounded them up, I noticed I'd been looking at a map of Ulthuan for the last few seconds. I took a closer, most conscious look at it, before coming up with a revelation.
"Unicorn Gate," I spoke out. Everybody fixed their eyes on me.
"Pardon?," said Officer Jenny.
"Unicorn Gate. Unicorn means 'One Horn'. Singlehorn! If there's a connection, that's it! That could be the reason why they've held two tournaments at each of the other gates but so carefully skipped that one each time!"
"So you're saying the lab's at Unicorn Gate?," queried Jenny.
"I don't know, but it's worth looking. I can almost bet there's something in there. And I have an idea not even the most secretive Guild's authorities can reject!"
"Congratulations. What is it?"
"I'll send a letter to the Guild and then ask the others. If everything goes well, we'll be holding the Unicorn Games soon."
So, that was how it all began. I tried to reopen the last training grounds, but none of the 3 locations were available. I shouldn't have been surprised after G.G. had told me I'd have to do everything on my own. But I wouldn't resign myself to do it alone either. I counted on Amy and Karin to be willing to help set things up. Fortunately, the old training grounds were still in its place and the people who used to work in them were happy to see them back. So, after some time and a lot of work, the 5 original rooms were filled with pokemon waiting for battles.
Scenario information: you can battle up to 2 pokemon from each of the 5 rooms, which adds up to 10 pokemon in all. Each room functions as an individual scenario as far as the Battle Range rules go, and you can use them whether or not you're planning to take part in the upcoming Unicorn Games.

Good luck to all of you! Train your pokemon well!

"Here are your reports, sir." The faceless bureaucrat proffered a large folder full of papers to his companion. "They confirm every suspicion you had. Output from the Ulthuan branch's scientific division has dropped by over a third, whilst expenditure has increased by over 70%."
"It was a mistake to let that man have any kind of power. The only thing he's any good at is inciting riots." It was no secret that Giovanni, the true power behind Team Rocket, was a man with as many problems as any other. And right now those problems had grown to include a Rocket executive who seemed to be going against orders. Armand DiAnnio, head of Team Rocket's Ulthuan division, and open hater of Giovanni's methods. "I don't much appreciate having to come out here after what happened to my Black Battalion. He's going to regret this delay dearly." Giovanni shuffled through the folder he had been given, but all it said was what he already suspected. Armand simply wasn't doing what he was supposed to.
"Sir?" A voice from the cockpit interrupted the Rocket boss in his work. "We're picking something up on the radar. A large pokémon presence heading straight for us. It's... a Salamence, I think."
"Trained or wild? Wait, it doesn't matter. Either way, it will be ours soon." Giovanni barked his orders. "Deploy the stun guns, now."
"Yes sir, stun guns..." A short pause, then the pilot's voice spoke up again, a trace of panic beginning to edge into his voice. "Sir? The Salamence, it's... gone."
"Gone?"
"Yes, sir. I'm not picking up anything on the radar, it's almost as if..." A sudden jolt rocked the helicopter, almost throwing Giovanni out of his seat and straight on top of the Persian that followed him everywhere. "Sir, it's on top of us, it's trying to break in, I can see its claws coming through the roof, I can..." There was a shrill shriek, almost inhuman in its quality. And then silence.
"What's going on?" Giovanni snarled. "Somebody get into the cockpit and find out what's just happened. Now!" The few Rocket executives that were accompanying Giovanni on this trip scuttled to the door. Only to be stopped in their tracks by a new voice coming from the internal speaker system.
"Oh, I don't think you need to be doing that. The door's locked, anyway, and unless any of you guys have a bazooka handy you're not gonna be able to get through." This was a deep, almost hoarse voice, a decidedly excited quality to its tone. A voice almost unmistakable to Giovanni's ears.
"Armand," he snarled, his eyes narrowing. "What the hell are you playing at?"
"What does it look like to you?" came the calm response. "I'm doing what I should have done a long time ago. You comfortable back there, by the way? No? Pity, I like my guests to be treated in style. Anyway, I'm glad you could come out to visit, Giovanni, as you can probably tell we're doing just fine without you. So well that me and Reaper took ourselves a little vote, and voted two to nil that we don't really need you at all."
"So you finally found the balls to try it." It was no secret that Giovanni and Armand loathed each other. A face off was seen by many as inevitable. "I was thinking you were all talk for a minute."
"Oh, I'm far more than talk. There's more than that planned for you. Just hold on to your seat. ...Cause today we're gonna settle things once and for all."
"Friends!" Armand addressed the packed meeting hall in his usual passionate manner, a twinkle in his eye that hadn't been there before. Tonight was his night to shine, the night when it would all begin. And he was determined to enjoy himself to the full. "We've been making progress lately, good progress. Finally the world is talking about Team Rocket the way it should be talking about Team Rocket. With fear. With respect. With emotion. Finally we're back out there, back on the map, and I want you all to know that I'm proud of you. Proud of every last one of you."
Apart from those who are no longer with us
"Hush, darling, I'm in the middle of a speech. As true as what you're saying may be." Armand cast a sly glance over at Reaper, the huge Salamence stood proudly behind him, before returning his attention to the crowds. "However, I have to ask myself; is this enough? Is it enough, what we do now? Can we truly say we're the best we can possibly be? The answer is no, we're not. And why? I'll tell you why. It's not enough because we're constrained. Constrained by a set of rules and protocols set down by our founders. And while it's constrained, it's not any fun. So I'll gathered you all here tonight to ask you to make a simple choice. Either we carry on doing what we're doing, we keep up with our petty thievery and pathetic attempts at evil. Or we break free, we abandon Team Rocket and all that it stands for. I'm asking you to choose, friends. Choose between this life of crime, or a future where we unite and show Ulthuan what real disorder is! Tonight, my friends, marks the start of a new era. The start of a new and terrifying force that's going to make people beg for the old Team Rocket with all its stupidity back. Tonight marks the beginning. The beginning of the Crimson Blades." Armand scanned the room carefully, already noticing the signs of dissent. This was going exactly as planned. It was time, then, to play his trump card. "And..." Here he gave a quick nod to Reaper, who swiftly pulled back the curtain behind them to reveal a tied and gagged Giovanni, obviously beaten and bruised and now put on display like some sort of perverse trophy. "...the end of Team Rocket." And just as Armand knew it would, at that moment the entire room erupted into raw, primeval chaos. The beginnings of his new world.
Mission
Recent events have sparked great infighting between rival factions of Team Rocket's Ulthuan branch. Battles between Giovanni's followers and Armand DiAnnio's terrorist units, the Crimson Blades, have been growing more and more frequent and intense, with devastating results for the surrounding areas. Your mission is to limit the damage caused by this battling. Use your skills and your pokémon to neutralise both sides as quickly as possible - both the Crimson Blades and Team Rocket pose great threats to the safety of the realm, and it is considered that it is best to strike whilst they are busy battling each other. Be warned, however, that Team Rocket is possessed of great technology and a large pokémon base, and the Crimson Blades are comprised of the most ruthless, ambitious and bloodthirsty creatures Mr. DiAnnio could summon to his side, and what they lack in numbers they more than make up for in zeal.

Lothern (city in the south region of Ulthuan) is attacked. The Siren Inc. building was hit by Team Rocket's new leader's Salamence's Dragon Rage (if you can absorb all that).
Anyway... Team Rocket has dispatched hundreds of grunts in Lothern, and the other Team Rocket sect is fighting them, and invading Lothern, at the same time.
The Siren Inc. (something I made up) is headed by Jacob Siren, the inventor of the Siren "Anti-Movement Wave Emitter". This device, when used, renders Pokemon helpless. They cannot move, and cannot resist attack. With this emitter, a trainer would have a 100% catch rate against ANY pokemon.
To gain power quickly, and to eradicate all the opposing Team Rocket forces, the new Team Rocket sect wants to use this emitter to capture legendary Pokemon, and use them to destroy their enemies, and control the world (dunn dunn dunn....).
Our job would be to infiltrate the Siren Inc. building, and stop Team Rocket from getting their hands on the device, while also avoiding contact with the other Team Rocket branch.
Fights and riots are breaking out in the streets, and buildings are being destroyed. Many Pokemon are being injured because of the fighting.

"Mr. DiAnnio!" The faceless minion of the Crimson Blades burst through the oaken doors of his master's overly extravagant study brandishing a pile of papers. Today was a good day to be a bad guy. "We just got the report back that you asked for. Stage two of the plan has been implemented without a hitch. It's all systems go, sir."
"Really?" Up until this point Armand had been less than paying attention, having been engaged in a spot of fencing with a partner who seemed remarkably capable of keeping up with thrusts and parries that would have put most professional sportsmen to shame. But now the Crimson Blades boss had other matters to attend to. He pulled his visor up above his face, revealing sharp, angular features and almost feline eyes. "Well," Armand panted, reaching for a bottle of mineral water, "Ain't that just peachy. Looks like we can get moving sooner that we were expecting, Dagger."
"That's fine by me." Armand's sparring partner raised his own mask to reveal a remarkably narrow face framed by chin length, floppy hair. "The sooner we can get on with this the better."
"Agreed." Armand began pacing over to the other end of the oak-panelled room, his attentions now focussed elsewhere. "Well how do you like that news, hm? I bet you've just got loads of evil-sounding curses to throw at me by now, haven't you?" The most cruel terrorist Ulthuan had ever seen turned to his captive, tied to a chair at the very far end of the room.
"My breath's too good for the likes of you, DiAnnio," came the snarled response. Giovanni, it had to be said, had seen better days. His once smart suit had been torn and creased. His usually composed face was bruised and bloodied, a glare that was bordering on the insane replacing his usual superior smirk. A week as the captive of the Crimson Blades had hardly done him much good. Recently he had been feeling more like a punching bag than an infamous crime boss.
"Suit yourself," came the shrugged response. "Although I bet you're just itching to know what we've got going on, aren't you?"
"I couldn't give a shit."
"Oh come on, now, friend, the least you could do is humour me a little." Armand paced over to Giovanni and clasped his face in a single hand, forcibly forcing him to look up at a face that was sporting far too calm a smile. "You're really in no position to be awkward with me. Now, let's try that one again with a bit of feeling! I bet you're just itching to know what we've got going on. Aren't you?"
"Whatever I say you're going to tell me anyway, aren't you? The only thing you love more than the sound of your own voice is that psychotic Salamence of yours." The remark earned Giovanni a harsh slap around the face that left his cheek stinging.
"Do you really loathe me that much or are you just stupid?" Armand glowered down at his captive. "Either way, you deserve a little sneak preview of what we've been putting your beloved research funding into lately. Dagger, untie our guest while I go fetch Reaper. We're gonna have ourselves a little walk over to the research labs."
The research labs were every bit as sinister as the rest of the grandiose headquarters of the Crimson Blades. All deliberately stereotypical, and with every possible entrance and corridor widened and enlarged so that the sinister Salamence that was now taking up the rear of the group could skulk along in comfort.
"You see, my friend," Armand commented as the little group walked along, Giovanni being forced on his way by the deceptively strong Dagger, "I never really cared much for that stupid little pokémon enhancing programme you had going. I mean, where was it getting you, huh? Nowhere, because you can deny it all you want but the fact remains that a properly trained pokémon is always gonna come out on top. Team Rocket's history against actual, decent trainers is proof enough of that. Ever wonder how come the Dragon Tamers kept whipping your butt? It's because your guys couldn't train a pokémon to save their lives. They had the strongest pokémon ever, but since they were flawed themselves it was a pointless exercise. Which brings us to my pet project. Or rather, should I say Dr. Douyoko's pet project. And a great source of food for Reaper."
I'd rather not live on scraps for much longer, Armand, Reaper commented with her booming psychic voice.
"Relax, sweetheart, our time's gonna come real soon," the blonde-haired man smiled warmly at his sinister pokémon. "First, though, let us introduce our good friend Mr. Giovanni here to Dr. Douyoko." The group rounded a corner to come across a most shocking sight. A large, open lab flanked with large cryogenics capsules made of a shiny metal and with many wires and tubes protruding from them in all directions. And in the centre of this room was a large operating table, the bloody corpse of what had once been a man sprawled across it. He had quite obviously been dissected in a most gruesome manner, and it was as much as those not used to the sight could do to stop themselves from retching. "Leona! We have company!" Armand shouted, clearly not affected by this at all.
"Most sorry, Armand." Eventually a short woman with brown hair tied back in a bun and a white lab coat being worn over a crimson skirt and black sweater emerged from a side door, wiping her hands on a blood-stained towel. "If I'd have known you were coming I would have tidied up a little."
"Relax. It all adds to the atmosphere, I say. A room's not a room without a dismembered corpse, is it?" Armand chuckled, clearly finding himself very funny even if nobody else seemed too impressed. Save Reaper, of course. But then the Salamence agreed with her trainer on everything. "Anyway, I thought it might be nice to introduce you to our hostage. Leona, meet Giovanni. Giovanni, let me introduce you to our very own mad scientist."
"I'd rather not be referred to as a mad scientist, thanks," the woman huffed.
"Well you did manage to get kicked out of every scientific body on the planet for your total lack of ethics, what else are we supposed to think? Anyway, why don't you explain to Giovanni here what we've been doing with his hard earned money?"
"Gladly." Dr. Douyoko smiled grimly. "Basically, we sat down and thought about the flaws in Team Rocket's enhancements programme. And we came up with one particular thing that struck us as a mistake in the scheme. It isn't the pokémon that needs improving, they're quite capable of that themselves. What we decided needed a few alterations was the trainer. So to this end..." Here the short woman clicked her way over to the nearest cryogenics pod, beckoning her guests over as she did so. "Take a look at my crowning glory. A totally new breed of human. We have taken all of the enhancements to the pokémon you'd be familiar with - extra strength, speed, resilience, improved hand-to-eye coordination and reflexes, the lot - and added a few things that only a human could hope to benefit from. For example, each and every recipient of my enhancements has been granted mild psychic powers - telepathy, for instance, and the stereotypical 'sixth sense'. Plus, in keeping with the basic idea to enhance their status as trainers, each one has been pre-programmed with an in-depth knowledge of the latest updates to both Pokédex and battle tactic codex. And please, let's not get into how long it took to be able to work out how to implant knowledge into the human brain. It was a pain in the butt and cost us a fair few guinea pigs. Just as well our little civil war landed us with no end of Rocket captives, eh?" The group peered over through a small window in the pod, showing what appeared to be a normal, albeit scarred, human. If Leona Douyoko was to believed, however, he was anything but.
"And it's all on for tomorrow?" Armand asked his chief scientist.
"Oh yes. They'll all be ready in time for the show."
"Show?" Giovanni finally found the courage to ask.
"Oh yes. We've got some real interesting entertainment planned for tomorrow. Call me weird but I like to test my toys out before actually using them properly. So I've thrown together a little potential murder mystery for our old friends the Dragon Tamers. It ought to be a real riot."
Sure enough, the following day brought with it a rather sinister news bulletin that no right-thinking person in the realm wanted to hear. A bulletin direct from the mouth of Armand DiAnnio himself, the Crimson Blades leader having somehow managed to intercept every TV channel in Ulthuan through incredibly crafty technology, the strange powers of Reaper, or a combination of the two. Around midday every household in the land was greeted with the sign of his curiously handsome, yet thoroughly cruel visage leering out at them.
"Greetings!" Armand sneered from the broadcast. "I'd say I'm sorry for interrupting your viewing but hell, I'm not. So let's cut down to the chase. This is a personal challenge to any trainer who thinks they have the guts to stand up to the Crimson Blades. I've got a little game you might want to participate in. I like to call it 'find the high quality explosives'. You see, over the past week we managed to smuggle a rather large bomb into one of the Gate fortresses and it's got about twenty four hours before it goes off. If you fancy your chances at being a hero I suggest you head over in their general direction." A long pause. "Oh yeah, I bet you're all saying 'but Mr. DiAnnio, that's not fair! How are we supposed to know which Gate to go to?' Well, deal with it, guys. Life ain't fair. But hey, there's got to be a lot of you out there and you've got a one in five chance of getting it right. I'm sure at least one of you will reach the right one. And that, my friends, is where the real fun begins. But come, I've said too much already. You have one whole day before one of Ulthuan's landmarks is removed from the map forever. Don't let me down." And with a wink the broadcast finally ended. Leaving the population of Ulthuan with no choice but to gather their wits together and play the twisted game of the Crimson Blades.
Mission
The Crimson Blades have planted a large quantity of explosives at an undisclosed point near one of the Gates surrounding Nagarythe. Your job is to investigate the Gate of your choosing (you may choose Griffon Gate, Dragon Gate, Unicorn Gate, Eagle Gate or Phoenix Gate, for their relative locations please consult this map.) and rid it of any Crimson Blades activity you may find there. Intelligence has reported that all areas are swarming with Blades operatives as well as their new, genetically enhanced elite troops that are reported to possess twice the strength, speed and stamina as a normal human being as well as latent psychic powers. The Dragons Guild advises extreme caution when dealing with these terrorists, and warns against any heroics on the part of individuals as they will be sending their own specially trained operatives in as well to help deal with this threat. As far as the authorities are concerned, the Dragon Tamers are to keep the Crimson Blades at bay for long enough for them to diffuse the danger.

Here we're asked for help off a most unexpected source...
It had been several weeks now since the terrible civil wars of Team Rocket first began, and there still seemed to be no respite from the seemingly random outbursts of violence. Every time a hive of Rocket activity was dealt with, the Crimson Blades upped the ante by taking a hostage or setting fire to some important building. Every time a member of the Blades was apprehended, a trainer lost their beloved pokémon to Team Rocket. No matter how hard the Dragon Tamers and the authorities tried, there seemed to be no end to the constant state of lawlessness descending upon Ulthuan.
And then, one day, something happened to further complicate matters. All trainers affiliated to the Dragon Tamers received a rather strange message through email, requesting their presence in an emergency meeting being held by the Dragons Guild to discuss a matter of national importance. Of course, few could not respond to an invitation like this, and most dropped what they were doing to attend, if only to find out why the Guild had suddenly decided to start informing them of things for a change.
They weren't to be disappointed.
"Greetings." The Tamers were addressed by a strange sort of man, dressed from head to toe in thick black clothing that covered every inch of his body, his narrow, place face framed by long, jet black hair and his eyes hidden by large sunglasses. The man's tone gave nothing away, either. It was cold, clipped, carefully judged. "My name is Lord Absol. I am the head of the Dragons Guild's Tactical Neutralisation Unit. In layman's term, it's my job to take care of all those annoying loose ends and potential threats that nobody else thinks about." Without so much as giving anyone else the chance to speak, the man continued. "I'm sure you're all aware of the situation with Team Rocket and the Crimson Blades, and be rest assured my people are busy working on neuralising that threat as we speak. However, it does leave me rather short on manpower to deal with something else that has come up. Which is why I'm breaking with tradition and openly coming forward for help." Here Lord Absol took a sharp intake of breath, before explaining his request fully.
Mission
"All contact with a top-secret genetics laboratory situated near Unicorn Gate has recently been lost. This laboratory has been used extensively by the Guild in the past, and it probably comes as no surprise to some of you that some particularly dangerous experiments have been carried out there. Despite our best efforts we haven't been able to establish contact for several weeks. We require a group of you to go and investigate for yourselves what is going on. If either Team Rocket or the Crimson Blades have established a presence there, eliminate them. If the pokémon test subjects get in the way, neutralise their threat as best you can. Be warned, however, that cutting edge research has been taken place at the lab, and the test subjects are likely to possess strange and unexpected powers. Transport will be provided courtesy of the Dragons Guild, of course, and should you succeed in bringing this situation under control you will be well rewarded.
"We now address another matter, that of defence. As you all know, key points throughout Ulthuan are being targeted by the Crimson Blades in spite of Team Rocket's attempts to defeat them. I have received word of a planned assault upon Sector Alpha. Hence I would ask some of you stay behind and assist in stopping this threat. It won't be easy. Rumours speak of surgically enhanced soldiers engineered to be faster, stronger and possessing latent psychic powers being deployed. So, basically, it's up to you each individually. Decide now which task you wish to be involved in. A covert mission to reclaim our genetics laboratory, or staying behind to help fend off what could be the most serious assault the Crimson Blades have made so far."
Here Lord Absol looked around the room. "I know few of you trust me. But right now we're going to have to work together on this. The threats are too great for any of us to allow pride to get in the way. The party to Unicorn Gate sets of in precisely twelve hours. Myself, I will be staying behind in Sector Alpha, so if any of you feel the need to speak with me in the meantime I'll be right here. Dismissed." Here the strange man sat down and began sifting through piles of papers, muttering irritably to himself all the while. "Damn, these are all out of order! Remind me to yell at Lord Magikarp when I get back to base..."

It had been a few weeks since the last attempt the Crimson Blades had made to ruins the lives of everybody in Ulthuan. And although their ruthless assault had left a mark on Sector Alpha the people were more than capable of rebuilding, united in their desire to put the Blades behind them.
Until one afternoon, when Armand DiAnnio's face mysteriously appeared on every television set in the realm, a cruel sneer on his elegant face.
"This thing's on, right?" he asked before fixing his attentions upon whatever camera was currently recording him. "Ah. Very warm greetings to everyone who's vegetating in front of the TV at this moment in time. I hate to ruin your day's watching and all but... hey, them's the breaks. Just in case you've been living under a rock for the past few months, my name's Armand DiAnnio, head of the Crimson Blades. And I've got a little proposition for two very special groups of people. Namely the Dragon Tamers and my old friends Team Rocket. I'm sure you must all want me dead, mustn't you? I mean, all the endless trouble I've caused you! Well, here's your chance to settle the score. I'm fed up with these little skirmishes. Time we settled our differences once and for all. I'm inviting you all to come along to my base on the Shifting Isles. We're gonna have ourselves a little competition. Any challenger who wishes to play against the best trainers the Blades have in pokémon battles. You win, you earn the right to try your luck against me in whatever way you fancy. You lose, well... I'm getting pretty low on food for Reaper, let's put it that way. Oh, and if you're worried about this all being some kind of terrible trap... well, you'd probably be right to be suspicious, but..." Here Armand paused for a moment. "Team Rocket, if you ever want to see Giovanni alive again this is gonna be your only chance to rescue him. And Tamers, just so you know I'll have Reaper poised to take out Griffon Gate if nobody shows. I've done my research, you know. Those Gates are all that's holding in some of the nastier things in the Shadowlands. I'd hate to see what might happen if one of them got itself a little blown up, wouldn't you? Anyway, you've 48 hours to think about it. I hope to see you all then." And with this the Blades boss blinked off the screen, replaced again with the relative comforts of whatever soap opera was on at the time.
Mission
Armand DiAnnio has issued a personal challenge to the Dragon Tamers, to come to his base and take on his best trainers. He is offering to personally battle anyone who proves themselves worthy. Although the Guild suspects a trap and sent out a military force to deal with the Blades, contact with the squadron has been lost for 24 hours. Hence they turn to the Dragon Tamers once again. Head for the Crimson Blades base on the Shifting Isles and try to take out as many of his underlings as you can. This is our best chance yet to finally end the reign of terror caused by these ruthless criminals so give it all you've got. As ever, be warned that the Blades are far more evil and bloody-minded than more common criminals and may well be armed. Extreme caution is advised. You are also advised against going directly against DiAnnio himself, at least as long as his Reaper is alive. The Salamence has been responsible for the destruction of countless buildings and settlements and is far too powerful to be taken on by normal means.

After all the terrors of the Crimson Blades it has been decided that those who fought so valiantly against the threats deserve a chance for a slightly more lighthearted training session. Henceforth, thanks to a great deal of organisation on the part of the Dragon's Guild, Lady Banette of the Mercenary Trainer's Union in particular, an old and highly successful training ground has been erected in the main square of Sector Alpha for a few weeks.
The Maze is a temporary multi-storey structure designed to test the limits of a team's resourcefulness and battling skills, it's insides taking the form of a gigantic, twisted fun house laden with devious (albeit annoying rather than dangerous) tricks and traps that require a trainer and their pokémon to work in harmony in order to get past. The specific rules are as follows:
1) A trainer's main objective upon entering the maze is to locate one of the exit doors. These lie beyond passageways, rooms and corridors that have been designed to test those traversing them. Only by besting the various obstacles will a team stand a chance of reaching the end.
2) Trainers and pokémon are allowed to use any means at their disposal to get past the traps set within the maze ? they have all been designed to hinder progress rather than cause damage and are easily fixed should, for example, your Scyther slice through a net trap. Do not hold back or you will not progress.
3) There is an exit door on each floor, each guarded by one of the MTU's employees. Once you have made it this far you have one more challenge to face ? a pokémon battle with the door's guardian, each of whom holds two pokémon (although whether or not the guardian decides to use both or not is entirely at their discretion). Only by winning are you allowed to exit. A list of opponents that can be battled on the different floors follows:

Please note that although the maze has been designed with the overall safety of its participants in mind the Dragons Guild accepts no responsibility for any accidents caused by the carelessness of trainers whilst using the training facility.

The time came when it was impossible to put it off. The break had been taken, the reconstruction was mostly over, the reports on the war had been filed and everything was running smoothly once more. To most people in Ulthuan, and especially in Sector Alpha, that meant life was going back to normal. To a few Dragon Tamers and Dragon's Guild members, it meant it was time to go on yet another dangerous mission, with little to no information regarding what they would find.
Gabi made the call, just like in the old times. It had been her idea, after all, and she was the one in charge of writing the report on the mission... or on "Ponytas in high places" anyway. The guidelines were few: all those who wanted to assist would go to the base of White Mountain in the southern part of Ellyrion, and conduct some research in small groups, looking for anything strange or suspicious, on or around the mountain. Those who decided to stay in Caledor, were free to go about challenging other trainers and doing whatever they normally did. Those who chose to go, would have to be particularly careful: they might find nothing, but there was known to be a very dangerous presence somewhere in the mountain... feeding slowly on the souls of those who sought glory, or a change in their lives... presumably waiting for the moment to strike. But that was, once more, mostly speculation: the Dragon Tamers knew there was a female green dragon named Yssera, who had been known to hide in the mountain and lure humans and pokemon alike with false promises, putting them into a trance that felt like a prophetic dream, and from which they woke up half the beings they used to be, with no bonds to anything or anyone, and no purpose in life; and they all seemed to feel grateful to her somehow. But that was all they knew for certain.
Yssera had already spent a few years in the mountain, which used to be a peaceful sanctuary before her arrival. Unbeknownst to the Dragon Tamers, she managed to gather a force of pokemon determined to follow her and protect her, if only because her promises of fame, glory and a bright future just for being on her side were all they had left. These pokemon would try to stop any attempts to find Yssera in terms other than her own, by persuasion or by force.
Note: the mission is optional, and open to Dragon Tamers and Dreagon's Guild members alike. If you want to stay, you can still have friendly battles in Sector Alpha. You can fight up to 2 pokemon from the list, as usual. You simply have a little more variety to choose from this time.

It had been roughly one week after the expedition to the White Mountains. A group of Pokemon huddled around a laptop computer in a modest one-story home, in the suburbs of Caledor. The Pokemon controlling the mouse, a Dratini, slowly scrolled through a page on an online news service, the logo in the corner proclaiming it to be the site of the 'Twoson Times.' As he scrolled down the page, the headlines became progressively grimmer.
"Old cult rises anew."
"Cult head announces extreme distaste for local politics."
"Cult membership reaches record numbers."
"Happy-Happyism spreads: the first Blue church outside of Eagleland opens in Caledor, Ulthuan."
"Twoson under new government: the Blue Party."
"Balthazar and accomplice lay siege to Twoson with help of followers."
"Cult members and accompanying Pokemon neutralize Eaglelandian army."
"Twoson in flames!"
The last headline was accompanied by a rather striking photo: a tall building in the background was in flames, while, in the foreground, a blue Flareon sat next to a young man. The man wore a blue bodysuit, and a crop of thick brown hair spilled over his large, opaque glasses. The article read: "This young man, believed to be a Happy-Happy Village native named Jeff Azure, was caught on film commanding his Flareon to set fire to the Twoson Department Store. Mr. Azure is currently labeled as public enemy number two, second only to the head of the Happy-Happyism cult himself, Koop R. Balthazar."
The Dratini sighed heavily and faced his comrades. "Let's get to the Guild. They should have enough manpower to help us now." When the team reached the Guild headquarters, a secretary stopped them in the hall and motioned to a conference room, saying that a meeting on their trainer was just about to take place. The team collectively nodded and entered the meeting room.
***
Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to travel to the town of Twoson, in the heartland of the continent Eagleland. Your goal will be to neutralize as many of the cultists as you can, hopefully paving the way for Eagleland's own military. If this threat is continued unchecked, it could possibly spread to other countries, including our own, so we need every trainer we can muster to help. If you happen across Jeff Azure, be wary: not just because, as Balthazar's second in command, he likely has access to the same weaponry and genetically altered Pokemon that Balthazar himself has proven to own; but also because he used to be a Guild and DT member and we suspect he's under some kind of mind control. Incidentally, confrontations with Balthazar should be strictly avoided unless you have proper backup. Balthazar is easy to recognize - he has red spiky hair, red eyes, and a very imposing (yet striking) figure. If he is seen in Twoson, he will likely have backup in the form of several cultist bodyguards, as well as several vicious Pokemon of his own. Be careful, trainers, and good luck.

Strange things are happening in White Mountain. We don't know exactly what it is, but since that's the place where the dragon Yssera was imprisoned and her followers have been particularly aggressive lately, it can't be good.
A party from the Pokemon Research and Training Department of the Dragon's Guild has marched ahead to assess the situation and keep things under control until backup arrives. That backup is us.
The Dragon Tamers and the Mercenary Trainers Union have been called to gather and get in shape for the upcoming battle. To that effect, the MTU building will be open to all Dragon Tamers for a free training session.
Each trainer may battle up to 2 pokemon of the Mercenary Trainers Union, from the room of his/her choice.
Available rooms:
-Caledor's Nature Protection Agency (80% Fire, 15% Dragon, 5% Ground)
-Antarctic Survivor Recovery Agency (60% Water, 40% Ice)
-Jungle Deforestation Recovery Agency (35% Grass, 25% Bug, 25% Poison, 15% Flying)
-Professional Sports Breeding System (85% Fighting, 15% Rock)
-Electric Shutdown Retirement System (95% Electric, 5% Steel)
-Free Range Corral (100% Normal)
-Universal Adoption Center (20% Psychic, 20% Ghost, 15% Rock, 15% Ground, 15% Steel, 15% Dark)
This works just like RBGs: you choose the room and the pokemon you'll be using (and whether you want 1 or 2 opponents), and we'll tell you what your opponent(s) will be. Each opponent gives 1 level of experience. The difference is that this time you don't have to pay. Unless you want more, of course.

Intro for old-time players
Our preparations have taken a long time. While the magical mirror has helped us restore some of Yssera's victims, it was not enough to stop her from building her army. Reports have come from Sybyll of attacks all over the town. Trainers and trained pokemon seem to be the main targets. We can't afford to linger here any longer. We need to go now. Our quest is to quench the attacks in Sybyll and, if we can, find Yssera's hideout in White Mountain and stop her by whatever means possible. Fortunately, some new members have recently joined the Dragon Tamers, so they can help the trainers from Sybyll contain the situation in their town while the rest of us head for White Mountain.
Intro for new players
Welcome to the Dragon Tamers! Our organization has been helping pokemon trainers in Ulthuan (and occasionally worldwide) for over 8 years. In the course of those years we have had to deal with several crises, and I'm afraid there's still a crisis we have to deal with right now. Of course, it is not your obligation to help; you're welcome to stay in Sector Alpha and train with the Mercenary Trainers Union (MTU). But all help is welcome and is likely to be needed. Some members of the MTU and the Pokémon Research and Training Department (PRTD) of the Dragon's Guild will be joining us. Don't mind the acronyms if you find them confusing, you'll become familiar with the Dragon Guild and Dragon Tamers as time goes by. Right now, the important thing is that the town of Sybyll in the neighbouring province of Ellyrion is being attacked by rogue trainers and pokemon. Trainers and trained pokemon have been the main targets so far. The attackers claim to be following a dragon named Yssera. We've had clashes with some of her followers in the past. If you decide to help, transportation will be arranged to take you from our base in Sector Alpha, Caledor, to Sybyll, Ellyrion. Once there you can help the local trainers stop the attackers.
If anyone is still confused, here's a map of Ulthuan, the country where most of our adventures take place. Make sure to read the rules on the first post of this topic. And, if you want more background information, you may stuff yourself with the contents of the Dragon's Guild and Dragon Tamers site. Of course, the latter is optional aditional reading. You're not required to know all of that in order to play this game. You can also contact me if you have any further questions or if you would like to join the Dragon's Guild.
Important notice: in this scenario you're allowed to defeat three pokemon instead of the traditional two. If you have high level pokemon, you may split your battles between Sybyll and White Mountain as you choose (3-0, 1-2, 2-1, 0-3). If all your pokemon are level 15 or below, you'll have to battle only in Sybyll, as the pokemon guarding White Mountain are trained and dangerous.
Another note: you may receive help from Dragon's Guild members (either PRTD or MTU). People battling in Sybyll may also receive help from the local trainers. Those on White Mountain may receive help from the local Ponyta/Rapidash population and, only if you know what I mean by this, also assistance of a more uncommon sort.
Here are the lists of pokemon you can battle (and the experience your pokemon can gain from beating them).

One big crisis averted, everyone's doing their best to recover from the recent attacks and, fortunately, all of Yssera's victims have been released from her influence. We at the Dragon Tamers have decided to give ourselves and all other trainers a chance to take our minds off the trouble we've just gone through. And since it's been years since our last tournament, why not have a new one? It's decided: the Dragon Games are making a return. And while we work on setting things up for the tournament, the Training Grounds will be open to all trainers in Ulthuan. This time, they're located by the Dragon Gate in Avelorn (map). It's far away from our base in Sector Alpha, but all Dragon Tamers and Dragon's Guild trainers will be given a voucher for a free round trip. The return date is open, so you can even do some sightseeing while you're there!
About the location
The Dragon Gate is one of 5 ancient fortified gates which have alternatively allowed or blocked passage across the mountains throughout the centuries. It is now a historical monument. Passage to Nagarythe is currently enabled as the provinces are not presently at war, but if your time is limited I'd recommend spending it in Avelorn instead, as the views are much more enjoyable. The province of Avelorn is covered by lush forests with multiple species of plants, some of which are not found elsewhere in Ulthuan. Please do not wander deep into the forest without a local guide, as travelers often get lost in them. You can also find ancient cities and shrines whose architecture has remained unchanged for at least 400 years. The climate is warm, although the "eternal summer" promised in the touristic brochures is an exaggeration (or, rather, it's only real if you compare it to the rest of Northern Europe). The Capital, Gaen Vale, contains some of the oldest buildings and monuments. It's not very close to Dragon Gate, but if you're on a vacation and enjoy old architecture and historical sites you may want to visit.
About the Training Grounds
This time the Training Grounds are distributed among the towers that surround the Dragon Gate. Both towers have a Pokemon Center on the ground floor. At the top of the West tower you can find the Blizzard Room. The Jungle Room is on the first floor, and the Pond Room is in the basement. The East Tower has the Lava Room in the basement, the Desert Room on the first floor and a restaurant on the top floor.
You can battle against 2 pokemon in each room, and you may use up to 2 pokemon per battle.
The pokemon in the Training Grounds are well trained and know some TMs/HMs. I hope your pokemon get stronger here... and I hope you have fun.
So, these are the rooms:
--------------------
Pond Room
This room is ideal for water pokemon. Flying pokemon can handle well here too. Pokemon of other types may train here as long as they can swim, for the whole room is a huge, crystal clear pond with no place to stand except for a small platform made for trainers. Please don't bring pokemon with a water weakness into this room (this should be obvious but there's been an incident with a Vulpix in the past).
These are the pokemon you can battle here:
(up to level 15)
Mudkip LV8 +1 level
Bibarel LV15 +2 levels
(level 15.5-25)

(level 70.5-85)
Qwilfish LV76 +1 level
Swampert LV85 +2 levels
--------------------
Jungle Room
This room is full of beautiful and exotic plants. In one of the corners there's a rare bush which paralyzes poison pokemon, but otherwise the place is safe for pokemon of all kinds. The underbrush will hamper much movement and will catch on fire. There is a very shallow and small stream running through the woods too.
In this room you can find:
(up to level 15)
Turtwig LV8 +1 level
Butterfree LV15 +2 levels
(level 15.5-25)
Grotle LV19 +1 level

--------------------
Blizzard Room
The cold is almost unbearable here, and the icy wind blows at high speeds. There are small warm cabins where trainers can sit while the battles take place, but only psychic pokemon will hear your commands if you're inside one of them. Recommended for pokemon who can handle the cold well.
In this room you can find:

Abomasnow LV70 +2 levels
(level 70.5-85)
Delibird LV76 +1 level
Mamoswine LV85 +2 levels
--------------------
Desert Room
The cold deflecting walls take away all humidity in the air, and the floor of this room is covered in sand. Water pokemon would dry out immediately here. Be sure to take some water with you if you enter this room.
Here you can find:
(up to level 15)
Diglett LV8 +1 level

--------------------
Lava Room
Suggestion: don't enter here immediately after or immediately before the Blizzard room. The temperature is incredibly high in the Lava Room. You can walk along paths of rock sorrounded by boiling lava! The temperature is incredibly high in the Lava Room. Don't touch the rocks with your bare skin or you will get burnt! Recommended for pokemon who are resistant to fire.
